Helping you take care of your furry friends!
Ashley started her love and passion for animals at a very young age. Growing up on a farm, helping her grandmother take care of the owner’s dogs was the dream life. She knew right then that she wanted to continue working with animals, not sure how or when but she was going to make it happen… First job was at a boarding kennel, where she took care pets while people vacationed. Dogs seemed to be her main interest, she spent most of her time learning everything she could about breeds, grooming, temperaments, body language, training and just dogs in general. She landed a few different job opportunities through the years. Expanding her knowledge along the way, working at a few veterinary offices, and grooming shops. Ultimately, finding her true passion of teaching dogs and owners how to live a happy, healthy life together, through training. She is a member of a few different AKC clubs and Portuguese Water Dog clubs and does performance sports. She competes in many different sports including agility, rally, obedience, water work, tricks, and scent work. She handles dogs professionally for clients. She has 2 Portuguese Water Dogs (12rs and 5yrs) and 1 Chihuahua (10yrs). She has been invited to Agility Invitational multiple years with her Chihuahua, competed in multiple National Agility Championships with her dogs and client’s dogs (Welsh Springer Spaniel and Poodle), multiple Rally Championships with multiple dogs. Her youngest PWD took SUPERDOG at the Portuguese Water Dog National Specialty in 2021. Her Chihuahua was Top Agility Chihuahua for 2020. She is hard working, dedicated and very passionate about what she does, you will hardly ever see her without her pack!!
